Kuya Celest, 45th Wedding Anniversary

My eldest brother Kuya Celest & his cheerful wife Ate Ruby have celebrated “happy and healthy” their 45th years of marriage last 9th April 2016, at the Malate Catholic Church.
As marriages prosper in a climate of love and respect, their journey is a proof that shows how God has been faithfully working in their life. I had shared hopes & dreams that can never be lost easily with Kuya Celest, and our younger sister Margie, thru diligent parental guidance from Tatay Chiling & Nanay Lina. These hopes & dreams have paved the ways for our personal & spiritual development. Kuya Celest, indeed, was our family leader in this stage.
I saw Kuya Celest places his wife & family as primera numero uno in his life. Fatherhood is the source of his inspiration and achievement: He is a simple man of peace. He loves his wife; he truly appreciates and enjoyed Ate Ruby’s exclusive qualities. It greatly reinforced him the importance of giving back, making him a better husband. He places his family as the most important thing in life. He is content in simply being a good husband and father. No wonder through those qualities of being a good husband and father had brought real peace and content in life to our mom, Nanay Lina. For most of us, Kuya Celest & Ate Ruby was one amongst those extraordinary couples. I am proud to have a brother, a friend and an “idol” to which I had fellowship stronger than any fortress till now. This is another moment & better time to praise God - Lord God, salamat po for giving Kuya Celest & Ate Ruby happy & healthy journeys in life! Please make our life day by day a song of thanksgiving and continuous celebrations of Your love and Your amazing grace, amen. I can now affirm that it’s possible to get better with age. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
